Classical music and Opera can be found in Moscow in abundance. There
is great talent in the city with regards to the orchestras in
Moscow. The orchestral venues are also top class. There is the
Bolshoi Theatrreis which is world renowned and is considered
the jewel in the crown of the cultural nightlife of this great
city. The Bolshoi has to be the most impressive auditoreum in
all of Russia, and it is so full of grandeur and has wonderful
perfomances. The only problem is finding tickets to be able to
go to the Bolshoi. The visitors to the city always try and sneak
a peak at the Bolshoi.
The Palace of the Congresses is also a major venue in the city. It
is a Soviet style structure that is within the walls of the Kremlin
and has great performances of Russian Ballet. Also there is the Stanislavskii
and the Helikon Opera which perform a number of Russian and International
classics.
The Tchaikovskii Concert Hall and the Tchaikovskii Conservatory are
the best for orchestral music. The Rossiia Concert Hall also is great
for the odd classical display. When it comes to classical music,
Moscow is rich in choice and performance.
